With their perfectly chiseled bodies, the participants have already dominated the reverent stage of Mr. Olympia in the Men’s Open. Fans from around the globe have now witnessed the majestic moment they were eagerly waiting for. However, the backstage glimpses of the bodybuilders are as fascinating as their onstage appearances.

From Big Ramy, Brandon Curry, and William Bonac to Andrew Jacked and Nick Walker, everyone was seen either getting their biceps tanned or posing for the backstage camera. Let’s take a peek inside.

Behind-the-scenes glimpses from Mr. Olympia 2022

Along with the live reports of the events from Mr. Olympia’s arena, the official YouTube Channel of Mr. Olympia, OlympiaTv has also shared a series of YouTube shorts of the participants from backstage. If Big Ramy and Brandon Curry are posing for the camera, then Hadi Choopan is getting his Steele abs tanned.

On the other hand, Chinedu Andrew, Michal Krizanek, Shaun Clarida, and William Bonac were seen pumping up their biceps in some behind-the-stage video clips. While Andrew Jacked worked out with a weightlifting set, Shaun Clarida did some stretching exercises.

Moreover, the 7x Mr. Olympia, Phil Heath was also having a one-on-one talk with various entrants in backstage shorts. In one footage, Heath was whispering something to Derek Lunsford, while in another he was discussing something with Mamdouh Elssbiay a.k.a Big Ramy.

However, in one video, Nick ‘the Mutant’ Walker was posing confidently for the camera. It looks like The Mutant has girded up his lions to claim this year’s Mr. Olympia’s title.

All in all, the backstage clips are really giving an adrenaline rush to the fans and the viewers. 

Flex Wheeler holds the backstage fort

If Phil Heath facilitates the commentator’s arena, then Flex Wheeler addresses the participants by chatting with them behind the stage. Wheeler interviewed 212 Mr. Olympia 2022  winner, Shaun Clarida, and the Prodigy a.k.a Keone Pearson. The retired IFBB bodybuilder, Chris Cormier also interviewed some of the achievers. Cormier chatted with Kamal El-Gargni after he bagged 3rd place in 212 Olympia.
