Bodybuilding legend, Arnold Schwarzenegger, started his bodybuilding at the age of 14 and never looked back since then. Be it bodybuilding, acting, or politics, Arnold has cracked the formula to be ultra-successful in it. The legend who turned 75 this year, believes in the motto to ‘never settle’ in life. The Austrian Oak started a monthly newsletter on its website in 2021.

His newsletter became popular in no time. Through his newsletter, he shares incidents from his life, updates on his current projects as well as his goals and aspirations. In the recent edition of the newsletter, Arnold shared his birthday goals and urged his fans to help him to fulfill them. Arnold revealed that he enjoyed watching boxing and talking about fights.

Arnold Schwarzenegger speaks on Boxing

The Austrian Oak has, Arnold Schwarzenegger, watch a lot of boxing matches in the stadium. He is an avid lover of combat sports. Arnold tried something different during the Volkanovski vs. Ortega fight. He surprised his fans by commentating on the event. Fans gave positive reviews for his commentary. Due to the amazing feedback, he decided to continue his commentary through his newsletter. However, Arnold recalled the time when he thought that boxing had lost its charm.

Arnold believed that heavyweight boxers would never dominate the headlines after the era of the great Muhammad Ali, and Mike Tyson. He felt that it was the end of an era. “I never thought we would see the day again where heavyweight boxers dominated the headlines like Ali and Tyson. Boxing has lost its star power since then, and people have shifted to watching the UFC,” said Arnold. However, he was surprisingly mistaken. The $24 million fight trilogy between Wilder and Fury reinstated his lost interest in boxing and left him stunned. He believed that anything which would bring back the enthusiasm for boxing was this fight.

Tyson Fury’s insane speed and technical skills bewildered Arnold. Developing such a fighting style was also very tough considering Fury’s body dimensions. Wilder’s never give up attitude even after breaking his hand in the earlier rounds was commendable.

The Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder was one of the most anticipated matches of 2021. The three-fight sequence was a complete thriller. It kept the fans right on their feet all through the match. The first fight was a draw. The second fight was a spine chiller with both the fighters giving their best effort to snatch the win. However, British boxer, Tyson Fury, snatched the win in a close call.

The third and final match was the most anticipated fight in the trilogy. The two fighters did not disappoint their fans at all. They delivered a terrific performance. Despite being knocked down by Wilder after playing fast-paced shots in the earlier rounds, Fury caught his ground. He did not give up and picked up the pace in the final rounds. Ultimately winning the match and clinching the title. Wilder went till the last round even after having a broken hand due to which, the critics were all praises for him.
