Legend, Arnold Schwarzenegger recently launched his podcast venture, Pump Club, in addition to his 200k+ subscribed newsletter, The Pump Daily. He addressed it as the next phase of his fitness crusade. However, he hasn’t steered away from the routine interactions with fans asking for his advice on social media. In one such conversation, he shed light on the lack of responsibility exhibited by some personal trainers, which often results in the trainee paying the price. He publicly called out such actions by the professionals.

Now, his bodybuilder son, Joseph Baena, has joined in on Schwarzenegger’s mission to create awareness about the authenticity of expertise by personal trainers. However, the young star decided to address it with a tinge of humor. Recently, he posted a video on Instagram hilariously depicting a personal trainer, while his friend sweats it out in a workout.

Joseph Baena takes a dig at unprofessional personal trainers

As per the social media update, the 25-year-old flaunted his brawny physique with a shirtless look. However, the prime motive of his post was to display the antics of the professionals. His sarcastic insinuation hit the bodybuilding community hard, as it spilled the ironical behind-the-scenes. “Personal trainers are the best,” Baena wrote in his caption.

The video displayed the athlete drinking wine, imitating a trainer, and occasionally clicking pictures of himself in the gym mirror. Whereas his friend, namely, Ryan O’Connor passionately worked out asking, “Am I doing this right?”

Baena can be heard saying, “Yeah yeah, just few more reps.” His remarks depicted the casual approach exhibited by some personal trainers, while the individual working out relies on the trainer’s expertise. Explicitly bringing out the harsh reality, the star kid was successful in portraying his message with the hilarious video. Similarly, his father, The Austrian Oak also recently highlighted the matter on his social media.

Arnold Schwarzenegger calls out negative approaches by trainers

On the 5th of April, the 75-year-old icon put up an encouraging update on Twitter. “#ArnoldsPumpClub, who are we lifting up today?” he wrote. Consequently, a fan’s tweet emerged asking the bodybuilder for some precious advice. The fan tweet read, “Hey my best friend in work has just started seriously going to gym with a personal trainer. Yesterday she couldn’t lift her arms up & is really fed up & feeling like giving up.”

Furthermore, it requested Schwarzenegger’s positivity saying, “could you send her some positive vibes, she has already lost 14lbs & was doing so well.” Hence, the seven-time Mr. Olympia responsibly answered the query. He criticized such trainers and shared his wisdom with a perceptive message. “Some trainers like to crush people to prove they did something. That’s not the right move to help someone build a routine…”, Schwarzenegger wrote.
