Bodybuilding legend-turned-actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has had his buddy Bruce Willis’ back. He was just one in a list of many notable stars to extend their support to the ailing actor and his family. Willis’ family had even planned a reunion of sorts with some of his co-stars. However, it is unclear whether that happened, at least as per the ex-bodybuilder’s comments.

‘Austrian Oak’ was doing the media rounds ahead of his return to the screen. He used the platform to talk about things unrelated to his upcoming Netflix live-action series. This conversation saw him shed light on the current state of affairs with the Die Hard actor.

Willis announced his retirement from acting in March 2022 after being first diagnosed with Aphasia. The condition then progressed to Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). However, the amount of love that poured in from Hollywood stars and his family has helped him stay aloof from the dire consequences to some extent.

While talking about his ‘pothole controversy and FUBAR (Netflix series), Schwarzenegger steered the conversation toward his old buddy’s disheartening condition.

Arnold Schwarzenegger told Fox News Digital, “I think Bruce is very secluded, but I haven’t had a chance to talk to him yet.”

To help the actor reminisce about his grand old days and keep him from slipping into oblivion, as is the unfortunate effect of Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD), the family decided to host a throwback movie night

Apart from Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone was also invited. Other stars included Jason Statham, Willis’ ex-wife, Demi Moore, and Die Hard co-star, Bonnie Bedelia. In an effort to smother the actor with love and support, his ex-wife decided to take an upper hand on the matter.

Demi Moore planned to reunite The Expendables

As reported by sources, Demi Moore chipped in the idea of a family get-together with star guests, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone. An insider spokesperson told, “It was Demi’s idea, and the whole family is very excited about it.”

“The family hopes that reliving the various experiences he had with his co-stars will keep Bruce’s memory as sharp and stimulated as possible. It may be a Hail Mary pass, but at this stage, they’re willing to try anything to keep Bruce’s memory intact for as long as they can.”

They also issued a statement on the Association of Frontotemporal Dementia’s official website, generating awareness about its symptoms.

The family also declared that the meager amount of research has led it to its incurability. While Willis is battling FTD, his friends, family, and fans continue to have his back!
