Notably, the former governor of California is also regarded as one of the greatest bodybuilders and an iconic action hero.

Despite being enveloped by all these traits, Arnold has been a phenomenal father to his children. In the Jimmy Kimmel show, he revealed his feelings about his son-in-law, the Jurassic Park fame, Chris Pratt.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was impressed by his son-in-law

Chris Pratt and Arnold’s daughter, Katherine Schwarzenegger, got married in June 2019. However, it is interesting to know how Arnold liked the proposal of the Hollywood actor for his daughter. Arnold told on the Jimmy Kimmel show how he reacted when Katherine opened up about dating Chris.

Arnold said, “The thing is that first of all, I am really happy that he is such a great guy, not only very talented guy and a great actor and a great star and all that stuff but a really kind man and kind to my daughter which is the most important thing for me.”

Arnold further added, “I was like blown away when my daughter was telling me that she is going out with him (Chris Pratt) because I was saying do you have to be so competitive? I mean, you have to date a guy who is taller than me, who is bigger than me, who is doing bigger movies than me and makes more money than me. What is going on here?”

Katherine and Chris make amazing parents

After their marriage in 2019, Katherine and Chris had their first daughter, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt, in August 2020. Lyla is two years old now, and reportedly, is an avid animal lover like her mother. She has started walking, and it makes the parents happy when she enjoys the company of their dog, Maverick.

Furthermore, the couple became parents for the second time in May 2022, when they had their second daughter, Eloise. Eloise is just four months old.

All in all, Arnold Schwarzenegger loved his daughter’s choice and bonded wonderfully with his son-in-law. He never misses praising Chris on any platform. Although he amusingly labeled her daughter to be competitive, he wholeheartedly loved the inclusion of Chris Pratt into his family.
