As per the social media update, the 57-year-old athlete enlightened his fans with a mindful practice while he waited in the airport on his way to Columbus. Besides that, the post’s caption revealed an interesting aspect of the workout domain. “Bro-science,” he hinted. Apparently, other than taking advice from professional athletes in the field, many consult “the biggest guy in the gym.”

The Sultan of Symmetry scorned the ‘bro-sciences’ of gyms who counsel others with limited or debatable expertise and are usually not backed by scientific research. “ALWAYS has “input” into getting bigger/stronger… all without the slightest bit of foundational education or research…just “it works for me and so-and-so. It’s not substantiated with science, it’s typically one-size-fits-all,” he revealed. Furthermore, he remarked that the internet is overwhelmed with information from people with varying expertise and disciplines. He circled back to the fact that such floating information doesn’t assure its authenticity. “Be careful who you accept advice from,” Wheeler added.

Hence, he stated, “A lot of the greatest athletes in the world were never good coaches and vice versa. So be very careful on you accept advice from. Knowledge is power and has value too.“ Similarly, he once offered precious advice to aspiring bodybuilders on excelling in all fields of life.

In a previous update, the 4x Arnold winner once enquired his fans about the struggles on their career paths and what was holding them back. Hence, reflecting back on his own, he stated, “You know what my magic formula is?’ There isn’t.” He stressed the value of hard work and uniformity to chart the road to success. 

Following that, he unveiled his three secrets. Implying his first as commitment, he added simultaneously saying, “Second and third thing is the first thing. Commitment.” Thus, Wheeler admitted to having applied these aspects in his career which eventually led to his triumph in the bodybuilding industry.
