A man of his word, Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn’t mind taking up odd roles when needed. After serving as the 38th Governor of California for eight long years, his zeal for social service remains distinct. He recently got out of his way for the welfare of his neighborhood. In a recent Instagram post, the star was seen mauling road substance into a pothole with his team, putting his physical prowess to good use. A caption alongside the post iterated a persistent aspect of his staggering ideology. 

The former bodybuilder asserted he never believed in complaining about problems. With his go-getter attitude, he did the extraordinary, and his neighbors are evidently thankful for his efforts.  

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s invaluable service 

As per the Instagram update posted hours ago, the 75-year-old icon took to the roads of his locale with a plow and the necessary equipment to fix a giant road pothole. “Today, after the whole neighborhood has been upset about this giant pothole that’s been scre*ing up cars and bicycles for weeks, I went out with my team and fixed it,” he revealed. 

The pothole had been lying there for weeks, even after notifying the authorities. As a result, the citizens were disturbed by it as it had caused a number of mishaps. However, Schwarzenegger’s persona never finds it fit to just sit and whine about issues. Hence, he reached the location with his team, impressively doing all the manual labor for his neighborhood. The caption added, “I always say, let’s not complain, let’s do something about it. Here you go.”

Furthermore, the video displayed a woman stopping by and thanking the people involved for their good work. The seven-time Mr. Olympia donning his classic look with black sunglasses, can be heard saying, “this is crazy…for three weeks we have been waiting for this hole to be closed.” Nevertheless, the legend’s life has often been surrounded by various basic jobs. 

Arnold Schwarzenegger is his son’s hairstylist

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live, his son, Patrick, disclosed that even at 29, his parents cut his hair. “So the story is he always cut my hair growing up, Him and my mom. They did kind of bowl cup but my dad would always be the one that would shave it and I never used to get a haircut growing up. I still don’t, I haven’t been to a place to get a haircut in years,” he said. 

Sharing a memorable instance, the Staircase actor narrated that Schwarzenegger usually trimmed his hair. Therefore, he continued, “so this time the buzzer kept getting stuck in my hair so he said don’t worry and he walks out with huge scissors and my girlfriend was watching. Afterward, he was like oh, it’s perfect, it’s amazing and she was like you have patches everywhere.”
