Former Mr. Olympia Phil Heath is a successful name in the history of bodybuilding. Known as The Gift, Heath won seven Mr. Olympia titles, equalling it with the great Arnold Schwarzenegger. Struggling with his own adversities, the IFBB pro looked to emulate icons like Schwarzenegger, Lee Haney, and Dorian Yates to perfection. Though Heath has not competed since 2020, he still advocates the issues related to the sport.

Recently, The Gift shared his words of wisdom to motivate emerging bodybuilders who need a little push from their predecessors. Taking inspiration from Arnold Schwarzenegger and others, Heath uplifts the neophytes

Heath, 43, is still an inspiration to many, even after his ongoing hiatus from the competitive sphere since 2020. During his time, The Gift had his fair share of hard work and thought he would rather die than give up. The former Mr. O felt that if there is willpower, then dreams can transform into reality.

Recently, this IFBB icon shared a video on his Instagram handle where he was cheering up the rookies to become successful in the future. The caption read, “The proof is always in your performance! You have to wake up STARVING to become your best. No one is here to save you! It’s you vs you every damn day! Do the work, run through the wall and go get what’s yours on the other side!”

Evidently, all he wanted in his video was to make people take an insight for themselves. Per Heath, being hungry will not do, and stated, “F*ck that. You gotta be starving for greatness.” He demanded the constant urge one needs to push through and beyond. Enduring pain and hardship is the formula for success.

He has always been an achiever who loved to learn from others to become the best version of himself. In fact, as a rookie, Heath had the poster of certain bodybuilding pros, whom he looked up to, to boost his energy. Whenever he thought of giving up, it was his “heroes” who made him push even harder.
