Thus, in a recent YouTube video on Arnold Schwarzenegger’s official channel, he broke the news of his latest book, Be Useful: Seven Tools For Life.

The book is set to release on October 10, as stated in his video. Besides that, the athlete has some interesting revelations to make. He expressed his astonishment at reaching the pinnacle of varying disciplines, from being the Governor to traveling the world as a motivational speaker. However, a certain aspect was particularly more surprising for him.

The video surfaced on the platform hours ago, featuring the 75-year-old star in his element, taking care of his donkeys and miniature horses. With his stable in the backdrop, he illustrated a brief summary of his early life until today. “You know when I was 15 years old, I had very clear vision, of what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted to go and become the greatest bodybuilder in the world, I wanted to come to America to get into the movies and become rich and famous,” he said. 

The Austrian Oak continued iterating that he never expected himself to be the “Governor of the great state of California” or advocate for environmental issues. The seven-time Mr. Olympia admitted, “But the last thing that I expected did not plan at all when I was training in Austria, this dungeon, out in the State was one day I’m the Governor of the great state of California or that I would become an advocate and go and campaign and be a crusader for a clean environment.”

The most striking confession was when he described his triumphs as a motivational speaker. Schwarzenegger shared that it was beyond his expectation that one day he’ll be traveling the world simply to spread his wisdom and be rewarded with insane capital. “I mean here I’m traveling all over the world all of a sudden giving motivational speeches and getting more paid than any of the presidents or prime ministers or anybody else! It is wild,” the Hollywood star acknowledged. However, he is mindful of the importance of integrity over fame or money. On that note, he once let a lucrative offer slip simply by saying no.

The IFBB pro was just emerging as a budding actor when he left everyone stunned with his bold demeanor. In a throwback interview, Schwarzenegger was once enquired that why he rejected the $200,000 offer for a tire commercial. He bluntly replied, “Because I have money.”

That’s one way to answer. Moreover, he added that it wasn’t a good fit for his career. The star intended to earn millions through movies and blockbuster motion pictures and eventually gravitate toward film production. Therefore, the 6’2 athlete claimed, “In all those things, I mean the tire commercial doesn’t fit into it.”
