Yet, ‘The King’ continues to roar in his way without an iota of regret. Also, he is a source of inspiration to millions to choose bodybuilding.
Hafthor Bjornsson, the Game of Thrones actor acclaimed as the ‘strongest man to have ever lived’ got his hands on Ronnie’s book, “Yeah Buddy”. In his Instagram post, the Icelandic professional strongman once shared that he has been greatly moved by Coleman’s story and hinted at giving bodybuilding a try.

Bjornsson was heavily inspired by Ronnie Coleman and his legacy
Bjornsson has decorated his career with a variety of accomplishments across different fields. From a tall, skinny teenager to becoming the strongest man ever, he filled every walk of his life with challenges to utilize his potential to the fullest or even beyond. With his heart always yearning for something exciting, he found a sense of gratification in sports. Safe to say, this explains why he resonated with the story of Coleman.

Before finding his passion for basketball, he enjoyed playing soccer and gymnastics. The 6 ft 9” giant has a long list of achievements in his decade-long strongman career. He switched to boxing a couple of years ago. Also, he made significant contributions in a short period. Not satiated with his achievements, his thirst for more challenges found a new arena.

In January this year, Bjornsson made an Instagram post with pictures of his magnificent physique. Inspired by Coleman’s journey, he wrote, “Should I try out bodybuilding after my boxing journey ? Right now I’m reading @ronniecoleman8 book and I’m hooked. Love his story.”
Bjornsson is dealing with a bigger challenge
Coleman had unwavering focus and there was no second thought or Plan B besides bodybuilding. Although he held different roles, his passion was clear: bodybuilding has been his only challenge. On the other hand, Bjornsson, given his boxing journey, has become lean and shredded.

To fuel his serious passion for boxing, he transformed himself to suit the ring. In an Instagram post in June, ‘The Mountain’ wrote that he hasn’t been 100% with his diet or training. “I’m human like everyone else, and I’m going through a period in my life where I’m not 100 percent focused or dedicated all the time,” he continued.
