Hulk star Lou Ferrigno is prominent for roles matching his behemoth physique, showing off his supernatural strength and power. Well, the star actor has another side to him that fills the room with love and warmth. And that’s precisely what happened with his wife, Carla Green.

A week after their encounter, Carla called him and went on their first date. At the end of the date, she knew she was going to marry him. They shared great chemistry and camaraderie. Ferrigno and Green now make a beautiful family with three children. Having said that, it’s hard to believe Green refused to marry despite multiple requests. In a 2009 documentary, the couple got candid about their love story.

Lou Ferrigno popped the question repeatedly

They were traveling in an airplane, and Ferrigno asked, “Why don’t we get married?” Shook by the suddenness of the proposal, she responded, “We’ll think about it.” In the documentary, Carla confessed, “I didn’t want to get married. It was too soon.”

Thereafter, they continued with their lives. Six months later, Ferrigno said, “We’re getting married.” Carla refused again, but this time, she said, “We can get engaged, not married.” They got a ring and were officially betrothed.

Carla continued. She was getting to an age she would want to have children, but she was firm on having them only after marriage. Nine months passed, and Ferrigno was there again. “Can we get married?” Carla had no choice but to give in to the Incredible Hulk.

Ferrigno met Carla at a restaurant. He was surprised to learn that she was the manager. He watched her walk around in the restaurant for half an hour and finally asked her whether she could sit down and talk with him. She refused owing to her “management position.”
