$80 million worth Hollywood star, Chris Pratt, was going through a difficult phase when he met the love of his life. Bodybuilding legend, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s eldest child, Katherine, stumbled upon the actor in a church and the duo eventually hit it off. Talking to Drew Barrymore on her self-titled show, Pratt elucidated how the two ended up being the happiest couple.

In a recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the actor revealed that he met Katherine five years ago and couldn’t take his eyes off her. Interestingly, Pratt asserted the value of faith which helped him get his life back on track. Moreover, he met Katherine in the place of worship, which significantly strengthened his beliefs. Here’s how he described it.

Chris Pratt hails his wife for giving him a good life

As per the interview on YouTube, the 43-year-old star got candid with Barrymore discussing his dark times ahead of meeting his wife in 2018. “There was a moment in my life that I was really struggling and felt really broken,” he admitted. Only after a year of knowing each other, the star couple got married in June 2019. Moreover, Pratt is extremely grateful for how things turned out. Thus, he stated, “I met Katherine, now it’s been five, maybe six years ago, and God has a fast-forward button. When it’s right — boom.”

Now, a father of two daughters, Eloise, 8 months, and Lyla, 2, he expressed how amazing he feels with the family. “It’s all about timing…”There’s a perfect plan out there for you, and I think you just gotta have to have faith,” he added.

Furthermore, the Super Mario Bros actor disclosed that his preaching for a better life was only getting fulfilled when he met the ideal partner. “For me, my own journey of finding a higher power and leaning on that and feeling like, ‘Please save me,’ and then feeling savedand then shortly, later meeting, you know, the woman of my dreams and being like: This is, wow, this feels great, Pratt narrated. The interview also shed light on their fascinating love story.

The 48-year-old actress and host recounted how Katherine and Pratt had particularly met each other at a holy place. “Yeah, we did…we met at a church,” the 6’2” actor confirmed. Consequently, he unfolded the entire story. Apparently, Pratt was seated at his church’s front row praying when he caught sight of Katherine. Skipping a heartbeat, he wondered, “Whoa, who’s that.”

“But I was kind of sneaking some glances…We didn’t start dating right away, but we met there and then later on, ended up going out,” Pratt added. The actor chimed in with a metaphorical reference to a puzzle. He declared that Katherine was the missing piece to his puzzle of life stating, “I’m certain that’s the piece.”
