If there’s one name that recurs with modern-day bodybuilding, then that’s undeniably Chris, the reigning champion of Mr. Olympia Classic Physique. Winning the competition for three straight years, the ace bodybuilder knows the intricacies of the sport. As Chris Bumstead sat down for a quick Q&A session, he was asked what he would do if his gender was swapped. With a quirky reply, the bodybuilding champ would have probably left his sister wondering.
A strong contender and defending champion, Chris looks confident, but what if scenarios stand different? Would he be competing or opting for a diverse career? As it turns out, Chris is in no mood to part ways from bodybuilding.

Chris Bumstead made his choices clear
Coming from a family of prominent bodybuilders, CBum gave his answer direct. As he read out the question, Chris’s initial remarks were, “That’s a good question.” He responded, “If I was a woman, I would probably compete in Bikini.” Sitting comfortably on the big couch, he remarked, “I’d probably just be that girl.”

While sharing his thoughts further, he revealed that he would like to participate in the “figure division” because that reminds him the most about the Classic Physique. The visualization of his female bodybuilder self would be “a lot about the X frame, like a beautiful, like taper, very aesthetic look.” Unable to curtail his excitement, he also revealed that this would give him an opportunity to compete with his sister.

For those unversed, Melissa Valliere is also a professional bodybuilder. The Canadian Instagram influencer became famous when she won the 2018 Tampa Pro Figure. She recently landed in trouble over the alleged use of “steroids.” Chris and his sister Melissa share a very cordial bond. Fans got a glimpse of their fun banter as last year; the Bumstead family came together to record a very special video.

As Chris and his family sat to take up some questions from fans, curious fans enquired, “Melissa, did you ever beat Chris growing up?” Though Melissa was unsure about the answer, Chris joined to give a quick reply. Confirming the fans, he was quick to chip into reminding Melissa, “You threw me down the stairs.”
Melissa also joined in to share that Chris once chased her with a knife. Chris intervened to add more to her story but forgot what prompted him to do so. His sister reminded him that he simply liked to scare her off, knowing she was afraid of knives.
