Kai Greene is a professional bodybuilder, who has won three Arnold Classic titles during his bodybuilding career. Although Greene has never managed to win a Mr. Olympia title, he has constantly performed well in them. Greene has three runner-up finishes in Mr. Olympia. He has never officially retired but hasn’t participated in any competitions for a long time now.

It is difficult to tell if Greene will again participate in any tournament at this age. But he certainly has the physique to do so. However, Kai and his girlfriend, Dayana Cadeau, have a love story full of patience and fondness. Long ago, in 2008, Dayana mentioned their love story in an interview.

Kai Greene was not an impatient lover

Kai Greene is one of those shy lovers, who couldn’t approach the girl swiftly. According to Dayana, Greene waited almost nine years before he could say something to her. Dayana said, “Well, Kai has been in love with me since 1998 when he saw me onstage at the Jan Tana Classic bodybuilding contest. I didn’t even know how he felt about me, but he was too shy to talk to me – he waited until he turned pro and won his first pro show (The Colorado Show) last year (2007).”

Greene showed absolute patience in taking the first step toward his love. Moreover, he waited for nine years to make his first move. Cadeau said, “Then we saw each other at the USA show in July (2007) and started the flirting, but he was very polite and kind and so charming.”

She added, “He came to see me compete at the 2007 Olympia, then after the show – around October – we began dating; he came to visit in Florida and the news was on: we were officially a couple! It was the most romantic weekend I ever had David. We were so happy; we will never forget it!”

What is Kai Greene doing in 2022?

After finishing second in three consecutive editions of Mr. Olympia till 2014, Kai didn’t compete in any IFBB competitions. However, he has maintained his physique quite like before till now. Currently, Kai is active as a personal trainer, artist, and actor. 

He has appeared in many movies, documentaries, and shows like Overkill, College Debts, Generation Iron, Redemption, Stranger Things, Pogaru, and many more. Moreover, the uncrowned beast has also been featured in his own podcast since 2020 called “Getting it done”.

Indeed, it has been an adorable love story between the two incredible bodybuilders. Greene waited till he made himself a champion of a pro bodybuilding competition. The couple has been together for more than 14 years and is leading an outstanding life today with his girlfriend, Dayana.
