Per the Twitter update, the 75-year-old former athlete took a moment to recognize McPeak’s efforts toward leading a healthy lifestyle. Despite undergoing several surgeries and different treatments, the victim’s enthusiasm wasn’t dimmed. “You just can’t stop inspiring me,” the seven-time Mr. Olympia acknowledged.

The primary post elucidated a timeline of McPeak’s health issues throughout. The caption stated that in 2014, his knee, fibula, and tibia were “cut out” and “replaced with titanium rods and steel knee.” Moreover, his calf muscles were carved out and “sewn to rod and knee.”  Shockingly, this isn’t where the grim scenario ends, the survivor also underwent 400 hours of chemotherapy overall. Routinely exposed to it for 96 hours per session and ten weeks of radiation. Besides that, in 2020, amid the pandemic, his left leg was amputated, and two years later, a piece of his lung was removed.
