The living legend of bodybuilding, Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s stardom transcends the sport. Fans, for long, have emulated the Austrian Oak and have often been involved in unique escapades to pique his attention. One of his fans recently took it a notch higher and employed an interesting scheme to meet his idol. The YouTuber faked to be his son and even Arnold Schwarzenegger himself. After numerous failed attempts, he continued to strive to catch a glimpse of the star.

In a recent video on his channel, Jesse James West, a former D1 athlete turned social media personality enlightened his fanbase with a hilarious snippet of him trying different ways to sneak into the Arnold Sports Festival. Luckily, he eventually accomplished his feat and also got a handshake from the former governor. Here’s what West had to do for that handshake.

YouTuber creates a stir to meet Arnold Schwarzenegger

As per the social media update posted on March 9th, the Northern Jersey native found out that Arnold will be visiting the booths of companies that endorse him, like Gold Gym and Reign Body Fuel. Therefore, West devised a stern game plan to meet him at the event.

He entered the event as an old Schwarzenegger imposter, protected by a group of bodyguards. Initially, the 20-year-old influencer began his plan of action first, by impersonating to be the Austrian Oak’s son, Jesse Schwarzenegger. He attempted to visit his hotel room on its basis and following that he tried to grab a VIP pass, but all was in vain. In the meantime, he met other notable celebs like Ronnie Coleman and Eddie Hall. In a conversation with Coleman, he disclosed his search for the legend. He said, “Yeah, Arnold is my father.”

Finally, he found his way to the energy drink booth and worked as an attendant for a while. When Schwarzenegger himself reached the venue, West rushed to him gleefully and posed for a click, marking the end of his dream encounter with the ultimate legend. 

Chris Bumstead met his best imposter

Pulling another of his hilarious stunts, West, whose YouTube handle boasts a 2.5 million fanbase, disguised as Chris Bumstead and went to the 2022 Mr. Olympia event. Once again, he posted the entire footage on his channel and further shared a glimpse of it on Instagram. He wrote in the caption, “Fake @cbum prank went better than expected.”

He met with the 4x Mr. Olympia and even signed autographs and took pictures with his fans posing as the champion. Surprisingly, Bumstead wasn’t able to wrap his head around the incident until he saw the social media update. Moreover, he slid into the comments lauding the YouTuber for his prank. “Hahah bro I didn’t even realize who you were. This is hilarious, well done,” Bumstead’s comment read.

As entertaining as it sounds, most of West’s antics were staged and it was done with authoritative permissions and knowledge.
