He claimed that his blunt honesty on life’s happenings might help aspirants in driving their willpower.

In a recent Instagram post, the legend shared a snippet from an interview empathizing with the hardships of the ordinary or rising competitors. Wheeler also shed light upon the reality of iconic bodybuilders, denoting them as being as human, as the fans. 

Flex Wheeler prioritizes life

As per the social media update, the 57-year-old bodybuilder pointed out the reality of physical capabilities. “You’re probably not gonna be healthy forever,” he stated. Besides, Wheeler claimed that sharing his personal struggles publicly might help the aspirants confide in themselves by relating to their idol’s hardships. “And when you acknowledge that you’re going through something similar, now you’re not an icon, you’re a human being,” he stated.

Furthermore, the G.O.A.T. added, “And then people can maybe dare to dream that.” He also emphasized the mindset youngsters follow, deeming themselves capable of doing any and everything. However, the scenarios change with time and age. “Things change, as we grow older we need to lean on our experiences and stay vigilant,” admitted Wheeler.

Moreover, he chose to encourage the dreamers with a blunt revelation dismissing the standards the fans project upon him and Ronnie Coleman, by saying, “People… put us on a  mountain, like we are untouchable like how you guys thought of me or Ronnie. He’s not human.” Simply putting it, the 4x Arnold Classic winner denied basing his life solely upon bodybuilding. As a part of his perceptive caption read, “bodybuilding is what I did, not who I am.”
