English bodybuilder Eddie Hall prioritizes bodybuilding even after his retirement from the industry. The former strongman hits the gym every now and then. As per his recent Youtube video, his son, Maximus tagged along this time to join in on a gym session with the powerlifter dad. Let’s find out how the father-son training session went about.

In the video posted on the bodybuilder’s official channel, Eddie Hall The Beast, he reached the gym with his new workout partner, his son Maximus Hall. After a brief conversation about Max’s distaste for school, he asked sarcastically, “Maximus has just finished his schooling, he loves school, don’t you? How good is school out of 10? A million?.”

Hall revealed that, since he’s been going about his usual Strongman routine, he’s planning on shifting it to the bodybuilding specifics. Getting on with the workout session, Hall pushed his son’s limits around a bench workout, putting him up with a 30 kgs (66.13 lbs) bar and gradually increasing it to 35 kgs (77.16 lbs), while he did 110 kgs (242.5 lbs).

After completing a significant amount of reps, Max was applauded by his father. Although, pointing out his weak points, Hall stated, “So you’re strong on incline as you are in fact a bit stronger on incline than you are on flat.” Nevertheless, this isn’t the first time the duo are crushing it in the gym.

As per another Instagram video posted by Halls’ official handle, his 10-year-old son aced his first-ever deadlift as his strongman dad guided him through it. The kid had the virtual world in awe as he lifted the mammoth weights.

Likewise, Hall wrote, “Max’s first deadlift. He has a long way to go with technique and back positioning etc but we’re going to stick at this weight until he’s got it perfected and then start to move up!!! But 50kg for his first deadlift is awesome.”

Eddie Hall has had a remarkable journey not only in his career as a strongman but also as a bodybuilder, actor, boxer, and now a popular social media figure. It is evident that he is steadily exposing his son to the world of bodybuilding and probably wants him to retrace Hall’s footsteps. How soon till we see the little star competing?
