However, people also know him for his role as the green superhero “Hulk” in the 1977 TV show “The Incredible Hulk”. Lou Ferrigno uses ‘The Hulk’ to advise fans
Ferrigno is one of the most accomplished bodybuilder-turned-actor in Hollywood. Even though he has played many famous roles, his character “The Hulk” on the CBS television network is the best work ever.
In the show, to warn the audience that Ferrigno was turning into Hulk, they first showed his eyes turn green. Hence, while sharing a lovely message with fans to not “turn angry” during the “holiday season” Ferrigno shared a meme on his Instagram. In the caption, the bodybuilder wrote, “The Holidays can be a tricky time managing work, family and friends.🎄Stay positive, and kind and remind everyone to not make each other angry. 😂🤞🏽”

As soon as Ferrigno posted the meme, his fans were hit by a wave of nostalgia. They stormed into the post’s comment section to share their “Hulk” memories. A few fans thanked Ferrigno and wrote,“I absolutely LOVED this show!! Thanks for making my childhood better😁”

Although the show did amazingly well among the audience, and Ferrigno himself loved the role, it was not easy for the bodybuilder to prepare for this role. It took a ton of effort.
Ferrigno had almost quit the iconic role
On several occasions, Ferrigno revealed how hard it was to shoot for the superhero series. During those days, CGI was not available in movies or shows. As a result, Ferrigno had to undergo several hours of makeup and preparation to turn into the “green superhero”.

The bodybuilder had once revealed he had to shoot for 12 to 14 hours a day. Apart from being painted green, Ferrigno also had to maintain his body structure for the bodybuilding competitions.
