From a successful Hollywood career to serving as the Governor of California, the bodybuilding demigod Arnold Schwarzenegger has covered it all. And now, by personifying himself as the God of Thunder, Zeus, the Austrian Oak again made a big splash among his fans. In 2022, Schwarzenegger collaborated with the luxury company BMW to promote its new segment of electric cars by making an incredible commercial appearance as Zeus. Interestingly, after almost a year of the commercial, the bodybuilder shared his take on science and its new technological advancements.

AI is now becoming a true essence of success in every sector. Likewise, BMW too has integrated AI into its new electric cars. Interestingly, the German automobile company chose actors, Schwarzenegger and Salma Hayek, as its brand ambassadors. In a recent CES meet, the bodybuilder talked about the vision of BMW electric cars. However, he also shared his perspective on the Hollywood industry’s double standards revolving around AI.

Arnold Schwarzenegger shared his perspective on Hollywood’s outlook on AI

At the CES tech event 2023, the 75-year-old delegated for BMW. He shared every nook and cranny of the future of automotive technology. Interestingly, when he talked about AI, he started by giving references to all of his science fiction movies. As per the video posted by the official YouTube channel CES Highlights, the bodybuilder stated, “from cloning to Artificial Intelligence to traveling to Mars, my movie career covered it all”.

The Austrian Oak further explained how “the science fiction back in the 80s and 90s that became the science facts.Furthermore, the 75-year-old mentioned the impact of AI on the Hollywood film industry and expressed his inability to understand Hollywood’s negative outlook on AI and said, “a lot of people in Hollywood—they are worried about AI.” He reasoned his arguments well when he hinted at the fact most of his AI-induced roles were portrayed as the villain in his movies.

Moreover, Arnold jokingly asserted about the “bleached hair”, “fake breasts” and the “collagen lips” used in the movies. And, drawing the irony, Schwarzenegger said, “They worry about something that is artificial”. Then, at last, he drew the parallels between his movie and BMW’s vision.

Arnie compared The Terminator with BMW’s AI-induced vision

Comparing BMW’s vision of “Save the humanity” with his Terminator character, the actor said, “it reminds me a little bit of the character that I played in Terminator 2”. Moreover, the bodybuilder praised BMW’s motto of working with humans and not against them. The Terminator actor further applauded the German automobile company by expressing his heartfelt fondness for the technology they used. He added, “they have been striving to be the most sustainable car company in the world”.

Clearly, BMW’s new AI-induced technology has fascinated the Terminator. Forthwith his collaboration with the automobile company, Schwarzenegger goes above and beyond to express his fondness for the technology. The Terminator actor makes quite a convincing case for the German motor company, don’t you think?
