“They Help Me With Posing”: Little Daughters Help Their 37-Year-Old Bodybuilder Father to Prepare for Mr. Olympia 2022

Mr. Olympia 2022 rounds will be beginning in less than 24 hours from now. And everyone has their eyes on the former bodybuilding champions and big names in the competition. However, the competition is as much as about the top names as it is about about the debutants. Similarly, a bodybuilder from Tampa Bay will be making his debut in this edition of Mr. Olympia.
The 37-year-old, Winston Sullivan, gives credit to his two young daughters for helping him come this far. For Sullivan, while the journey began in high school, this will be the first time him competing on such a massive stage.

Winston Sullivan on his big stage bodybuilding debut
While talking about his strong foundation in bodybuilding, which helped him stay stable in all hard times. Winston shared with Fox13 News, “They help me with posing, they’re watching the clock timing me. “I like that I can bring them into the journey.”

Competing on the biggest stage will be one of the big moments of Winston’s life. However, he denied being nervous about his debut. He said, “I’m excited, the work that I put in to get to this point overcomes any nerves, I’m excited, ready to go.”

The journey of a local bodybuilder to the biggest stage of bodybuilding might contain several ups and down. After many years of competing in local and amateur competitions, Sullivan eventually became a pro bodybuilder in 2019. Moreover, earlier this year, in October, he qualified for the 2022 Mr. Olympia. Winston will be competing in the Men’s Classic Physique category in his debut.
The biggest competitors for Sullivan in 2022
Looking at Sullivan’s competitors, Brandon Hendrickson is a name that has been popping up. He has dominated the Men’s Classic Physique category for the last two years. He is overall a three-time Men’s Physique winner. Whereas the other tough competitor will be Raymont Edmonds. He is also from the USA and won the title in 2019.

Making a debut at the most prestigious stage in bodybuilding is never easy. Further, as a debutant, a lack of pressure from avid followers of the game can prove to be a blessing in disguise.
