Back in the 90s, Ronnie Coleman and Vickie Gates ruled bodybuilding. Together, they were referred to as the strongest couple. Pound for pound, the exceptional physique, and the incredible strength they displayed was amazing. Though the couple eventually parted after seven years, their dominance on stage was always marked.

Fans favorites, the two displayed immense passion and dedication for the sport. Now, in an archived video, the ex-couple can be seen lifting some insane weights. The numbers will surely leave you astonished!

Ronnie’s incredible strength

There is no denying that Ronnie’s impressive physique left his competitor jealous. He was always a delight to watch whenever he walked on the stage. In the video, Vickie is initially seen lifting heavy weights, but when Ronnie’s turn comes in, the weights run out!

Falling short of weights for his regular workout, the anchor, as he quotes, is “enlisted as a dumbbell.” When the interviewer, Jeff, asks what total weight Ronnie will now lift, the reply comes back, “600 pounds.” Providing more insight, Jeff was informed that there are cars that do not weigh that much.

Many may think that lifting that crazy number must have been difficult. However, dismissing such probable assumptions, the interviewer clarifies, “Ronnie does it with ease!” What would otherwise have been a difficult task, Ronnie did with perfection!

Having won eight back-to-back Mr. Olympia titles and 26 IFBB professional titles, which is the highest, state why he is known as the king. Coleman had to put in a lot of effort to get the perfect body. He even tackled a lot of injuries. Despite the 13 major surgeries, Coleman never backed down. He kept on pushing his limits and strived for the best. He did not just achieve his dreams but also showed the world that nothing is unachievable.
