Pet owners usually develop a weird fixation with their pets. They tend them as one of their own and wish them to be a part of all the social gatherings. Legendary bodybuilder-turned-Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger is no different. The star recently invited the folk rap group that won the Eurovision to his house. However, learning the way he greeted his guests will have you rolling on the floor.

When we hear about a person who goes around introducing his pets to his guests, we imagine the pet to be a dog or a cat. In other cases, it might be either a hamster or a parrot. However, Arnold Schwarzenegger is nothing if not unique. After all, the pets in question here are donkeys.

In the interview, the group mentioned that they met Schwarzenegger along the way. Upon being invited over to his house, the band was ecstatic to meet the man whose movies they’d seen while growing up. However, what caught more attention in their narration was the peculiar way Schwarzenegger welcomed his guests.

Describing the meet-up to The Guardian, they said, “In Los Angeles, we met Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has been actively supporting Ukrainians since the early days of the war. ​​He invited us over to his house and came out to greet us with a pet donkey. We talked about the situation in Ukraine and thanked him for his support and shared how important it was to us. It was a pleasure to meet such a legend; I grew up on his movies.”

Well, this isn’t the first time Arnold and his pets have made headlines. Like most pet parents, Schwarzenegger is obsessed with his pets. These adorable creatures include a donkey, a pony, and four dogs. In 2020, Schwarzenegger went viral on Twitter for celebrating the birthday of his then-one-year-old donkey, Lulu.

During the pandemic, the Terminator actor had ample time to bond with his pets. On some occasions, his pets graced some of the interviews he took from his home with their presence. Lulu and the pony named Wishkey were featured in a special interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! show after the pets became household names through their viral videos in 2020.
