Ronnie Coleman is one of the greatest bodybuilders in the world. He won Mr. Olympia for eight consecutive years from; 1998 to 2005. However, an eight-time Mr. Olympia winner had to deal with multiple injuries in his life. Ronnie has had 13 surgeries to date.
Moreover, Ronnie almost got paralyzed due to all the equipment put in his body to keep him stable. The long period of the heavy lifting throughout his long career eventually cost him several injuries and pain.

Ronnie Coleman wasn’t satisfied with his surgeon’s work
Ronnie Coleman has gone through 13 surgeries to date. However, in an interview in 2018, he said, “the surgeries that I had, three surgeries been real bad, caused a lot of damage to my body, so I don’t know if I will be able to walk but I am gonna give my best shot”.

Coleman added, “I think if the surgeon had performed these surgeries right then I would have been walking long-long time ago.” Ronnie never stopped training. Even on his bad days, he continued to lift weights, although much lighter than he used to lift.
Ronnie used to feel semi-depressed after his surgeries
Ronnie once offered his gratitude to God and his fans for praying after his well-operated surgery. Meanwhile, he opened up by saying, “lately I’ve been semi-depressed after all my surgeries”. Moreover, Ronnie felt relieved after finally having a different result from surgery.

The legendary bodybuilder felt overwhelmed and excited after seeing the result of the surgery done in September 2018. He was looking forward to getting better and seeing a day when he would not require any support to walk.

Ronnie has lifted heavy weights throughout his career. As a result, he had to undergo many surgeries to stay away from unbearable pain. Ronnie has undergone 13 surgeries and an unimaginable amount of pain in his life.

However, the bigger picture is that, even after all these consequences he faced, Ronnie never stopped training. He trains regularly as his routine and tries to keep his body as fit as he can. Although the weight has become lighter, the determination is still high.
