Katherine said, “People were like, ‘You’re forgiving your father for what he’s done? It’s too soon!’ I’m like, ‘I just think it’s a nice quote.'” However, she also pointed out that people on social media were really kind when the news came out and asked her if she was fine and doing well.

Although the couple registered for their divorce in 2011, it got finalized in 2021, after a 10-year gap. Although they got separated as husband and wife, the ex-couple are still together as parents. After their divorce, the couple announced they would be there for their kids together regardless of their separation. They often meet and cheer up on birthdays or other occasions of family.

All four children are pursuing their interests and are successful in their lives. After the collapse of their family in 2011, Arnold and Maria did a good job of handling the situation and being there for their kids together whenever they needed them.
