Martial Arts and Bruce Lee are synonymous with each other. Through his flair in acting and unbeatable prompts, the Martial arts king did a commendable job of bridging the western and eastern hemispheres. Although the legend may not be here with us today, his teachings and his impact on the world of martial arts and the Hollywood entertainment industry are still remembered.

Lee’s bequest didn’t only impact the world of martial arts, but it also hugely influenced western cinema. Whenever any opportunity arises, many athletes and celebrities still pay their eulogies to Lee by speaking highly of him. Likewise, a couple of years ago, the UFC color Commentator, Joe Rogan paid tribute to Lee by reminiscing about the interesting exposure he had to Lee.

Joe Rogan reminisced about his maiden exposure to Bruce Lee

In 2018, many well-regarded celebrities collaborated over the NatterNet podcast to talk about Bruce Lee. From martial artist Gene LeBell to Jackie Chan, everyone paid their heartfelt tributes to Lee by sharing the individual episodes that they have encountered with the little phoenix. At one point, the American commentator and actor, Joe Rogan shared his brief exposure to Lee in Rogan’s childhood.

Joe reminisced about Lee by saying, “how anybody today can realize what an impact that guy had on kids”. The commentator then recalled his childhood days when he was living in Newark. He got acquainted with Bruce because of the posters at his friend’s apartment. Joe’s curiosity made him buy a movie ticket to Lee’s movie. The actor said, “we went to see a movie together” and further added, “it was the first time I was exposed to it”.

We all know about the staunch relationship Jackie Chan shared with Bruce Lee. Jackie goes above and beyond whenever it comes to paying a eulogy to his master. “Besides great martial artist he knew how to present things”, said the drunken master about the little phoenix in the NatterNet podcast. 

50 years passed away since the legend left the world, but Lee’s legacy is still paving the way for many martial arts enthusiasts. Bruce Lee was truly a legend.
