As the 2022 Opening Day has finally arrived, pitcher Gerrit Cole shares his views about the Opening Day game as well as the entire MLB 2022 season for the New York Yankees. Gerrit Cole is associated with the New York Yankees in a 9-year, $324 M contract since December 18th, 2019. Cole played for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2013 to 2017, and then for the Houston Astros from 2018 to 2019, before joining the Yankees.

It is quite clear that the New York Yankees are locked and loaded in terms of having a strong lineup. But the question arises when it comes to consistency.
