The pitcher recently took to Twitter to make sure the stands ring his name when he steps out in his new city with the #0 jersey out.

Spreading the Christmas cheer and taking it into the new year, Stroman took to Twitter to give his fans not just the chance to sport a T-shirt in support of the pitcher but also the experience the Wrigley Field. Live. Co-tweeting a giveaway conducted by a t-shirt company, Stroman agreed to give away 3 tickets to Wrigley Field to winners of the T-shirts.

Marcus Stroman to the Chicago Cubs

The pitcher has spoken about the culture at Chicago recently stating he is excited to get about his career going in the Windy City. The Wrigley Field is well known for being a strong fan base and Stroman will be doing what he can to make sure that they start on his side as much as possible.

“It sells out every single night. To pitch in front of that electric crowd is something that kind of draws me.”

The pitcher only signed on with the Cubs in the December of 2021, taking to Twitter to announce his transfer hours before the league imposed lockout began.

He has also stated that despite his career in the MLB the Wrigley Field remains the only major stadium whose mound he has not yet had the chance to pitch from. A dream that will now likely be a reality for the player.

Stroman has also signed on for a significant financial commitment with the Cubs. Stroman will reportedly make $25 million in 2022, $25 million in 2023 and $21 million in 2024. The deal with the Cubs also potentially includes $2 million escalators for reaching 160 innings pitched in ’22 and ’23, sources said.

Stroman will be looking to make the most of his career, entering his 30s, his legacy beckons for a World Series Crown. But will it be with at the Wrigley Filed that Stroman finally delivers the crown?
