Carlos Correa to the Minnesota Twins still sounds like a dream. But it is as real as it can get. Where teams like the New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, and even his former side, Houston Astros, were keen to sign him, Correa chose the twins as his new home.

It is no secret that for a player who played for a champion side like the Astros for a long time, signing for the Twins was a bit shocking for the baseball world. However, now, Correa wants to put the past where it belongs and focus on his journey to new heights with the Minnesota Twins.

Recently, Carlos, in his first media address as a Twins player, spoke about how he wants to move forward with a championship mentality at his new home.

A couple of weeks ago, when free agency resumed in Major League Baseball, Correa was the epicenter of the MLB market. However, after being strongly rumored with a few big names, Correa ended up at the Twins on a three-year deal.

Recently, when Correa turned up as a Twins player to address the media, he had only positive things to say about his new home. He said that he wants to move forward with a championship mentality. His only goals for the Twins are to win divisions and championships. Correa also expressed that he wants to build a championship culture at the Twins.

“I’m super excited to join the Twins family… We want to build a championship culture,” Carlos Correa said. “We want to move forward, and win divisions, win championships, that’s my goal here. Make everybody around better and move forward with championship mentality… I got to tell you, I cannot be more excited. Minnesota is beautiful.”

Notably, after the 1991 season, Minnesota Twins have not won any major titles in MLB. But this time, with Correa by their side, the Twins might be the dark horse in Major League Baseball. What are your expectations from the Twins this season?
