WATCH: Aaron Judge Hammers Balls Out Of Park In Practice Session – Ready For Contract Talks?

With Major League Baseball still in lockout, the players are clamoring for play to resume. And while some are missing getting back to spring training, others are making the most of their time having practices of their own. And Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees is not to be left too far behind. With the right fielder in a prime position to take the New York Yankees far this year, he seems to be doing all that he can to prep for a grueling run ahead.

The New York Yankees will be eager to get their players back to spring training. With their star right fielder running the end of his contract in 2023; a priority signing may be to get him on board and signed before the season starts up if he continues to deliver the way he has in practice.

Granted it may be easier to make contact in practice, but there’s something to be said about the sheer force Judge seems to be expending in the video. And the slugger is clocking some serious distance on his swings.

The league being in lockout may have stopped spring training from starting on time, but the New York Yankees star is not letting anything impede his off-season development. Judge seems to be making the most of the facilities that he can use at the moment. Working frantically to keep up his skills in the season downtime, Judge is raring to go.

Already in South Florida and prepared to go to spring training at moment’s notice, the star Yankees man seemed to absolutely crush batting practice on the diamond. With a scenic backdrop in the University’s practice premises, Judge dispatched the pitches he got for gigantic homers.

Yankees fans, however, will be hoping this translates into real season performances too. The Yankees offense has seen some deficiencies in the seasons past and will be looking to improve in 2022. Especially if they are looking to make improvements to their post-season record from the days on. The 2021 season was punctuated by a Wild Card Game loss to the Boston Red Sox and the Yankees will be looking to wipe that record from their memories as soon as possible.

With the 2022 season in the balance and the lockout looming; fans will be hoping that the season is not reduced in number of games. However, the Bronx Bombers will be looking eagerly to resume action this off-season.
