In a shocking turn of events, legendary quarterback Tom Brady has ruled out any possibility of returning to the NFL. This announcement comes amidst a dismal performance by the New England Patriots in the 2023 season, leading to widespread disappointment among fans and critics alike.

Brady, who retired in February 2023, has made it clear that he has no intention of returning to the NFL. He joked that his family would not be happy if he ever changed his mind. Soon after Tom Brady’s clarification on NFL return, Dave Portnoy took the Patriots to task and expressed his disappointment.

With this, founder of Barstool Sports, Dave Portnoy also followed suit. Known for his outspoken nature and controversial opinions, Portnoy has been vocal about his disappointment with the Patriots’ performance.

Showing his disregard towards the Patriots’ performance, he said, “I want to be the first one with accountability. Hand up man up to say the Patriots stink. The Patriots stink, maybe the worst team in the NFL and I love where we’re at because we’re not Super Bowl-ready.”

Speaking up on New England Patriots’ Super Bowl insistence, Dave said, “We’re not a Super Bowl Contender and I don’t want to be in the middle of the pack. I’d rather be the worst if you can’t be the best you might as well be the worst and that’s what they are so kudos to this new regime.”
