Rich Gasparis compared their backs in his post from Wednesday. He captioned, “Here’s something interesting to see. This is a comparison of Dorian Yates when he won Mr. Olympia in 1992 and next to him is Hadi Choopin who just won the Mr. Olympia. As you see over 30 years ago guys were much harder than today.”

According to Gaspari, Doran Yates as Mr. Olympia, had a much more conditioned and strong-looking back than Hadi Choopan. He compared Yates’s Chrismas-tree-like muscle popping back with Choopan’s less muscular one. He felt that bodybuilders 30 years ago had much more conditioned and perfectly shaped bodies than now. The striking comparison was not well entertained by Choopan. He slammed Rich in the comment section stating, “It’s like comparing a picture of your arm with Ronnie Coleman’s arm, do you think it’s a correct comparison?”
However, Rich felt that although Choopan did not have a nice back, his front side looked great, better than his competitors. According to the retired bodybuilder, Derek Lunsford had a better back than Choopan.
