“Accepting No Rules As A Rule” Bodybuilding Icon Milos Sarcev Once Drew Inspiration From Bruce Lee in Adopting Unconventional Training Methods

It takes a strong mindset and temperament to opt out of the league in an attempt to try something new and adventurous. Veteran bodybuilder Milos Sarcev had done something similar when he was in his prime while competing in all the major competitions. In fact, the former bodybuilder adopted unconventional approaches in his workout routine. To further his ingenuity toward bodybuilding, inspiration came in the form of the legendary martial artist, Bruce Lee. 

Milos currently runs a YouTube channel and hosts interviews, sessions, and talks surrounding bodybuilding. In his recent question-answer session, the star bodybuilder revealed how a few wise words from the Little Phoenix has kept him motivated to try new challenges.

On his official YouTube channel, Milos hosted an open discussion in the form of the seventh episode titled Ask me anything #7. Sporting a T-shirt that was inked with “The Greatest Vs. The Dragon,” Milos contemplated Lee’s inspirational larger-than-life philosophies that did not conform to a set pattern or an idea. While Sarcev stressed the importance of working out daily, the Serbian bodybuilder used to train twice a day—a regime that is as unconventional as the life philosophies perpetuated by Bruce Lee.

What Bruce Lee is known for, accepting no style as a style. Accepting no rules as a rule.”, the 2x Mr. Universe remarked. The former IFBB star confirmed that this approach helped him in holding onto his methods as he could see positive changes. He also advised his viewers not to get stuck in the trap of regulations and conventions. To help fitness enthusiasts adopt strategies to think beyond what the rulebook says, the trick is that “there are no rules.”

And the legendary coach made some predictions about the outcomes. Here goes!

A few days ago, Milos appeared on the IFBB AMA podcast. The legendary coach gave the names of the three athletes that could make it to the top. “I see top three for sure… Samson (Dauda), Nick (Walker), and Andrew (Jacked),” he told the interviewer.

Explaining the reason behind giving the names, the veteran coach added that three bodybuilders have the desired qualities—both physique and shape. Perfect conditioning also gives them the best chance of winning the prestigious show. With less than a month left before the big night, it would be crucial to see whether his predictions will come true or not.
