It’s been seven years since Lance Armstrong left his beloved arena of cycling. Following his retirement, the cyclist explored a multitude of realms and made a hefty extravagance from each of the domains. From investing in elite establishments like Uber to opening his own coffee shop in Texas, Armstrong has covered it all. Nevertheless, the seven-time Tour de France winner has now chosen another metier and is making waves through his recent venture.

Armstrong gave up competitive cycling after his controversial downfall, but since then, his life has had various twists and turns. Armstrong fought cancer and defeated it successfully, and he rebuilt a life outside of cycling. He is now a business owner and has his own podcast. And now, the cyclist stepped into the world of reality TV and astounded his fandom through his new vocation.

On Thursday, June 1st, Reality Club Fox released a promotional clip for Stars on Mars starring Lance Armstrong. Now, the controversial cyclist has followed that up with a video of his own, urging his fans to get ready for his appearance on the reality TV show. Armstrong posted a video of himself addressing his fans on Instagram.

In the video, the former professional road racing cyclist said, “I made it back from Mars alive,” referring to the shooting of Stars on Mars. Armstrong also informed his fans about the show’s premiere, which was Monday, June 5, and wrote the caption, “TONIGHT! Y’all get ready…”. While Stars on Mars will, of course, not take place on actual Mars, the participants of this show will be living in a simulation of the Red Planet, the biggest one yet, which has been created in Australia. The show will star a dozen famous personalities.
