In a recent update, Simone Biles posted a photo of her and Owens, outside the county office for an important requirement. Before their wedding could finally take place, the couple needed their marriage license. And now, they finally have it! The big day doesn’t seem too far away.

The Instagram post featured a picture of the couple inside their car, holding up their license to get hitched. The caption read, “almost time to say “I do””, indicating that the wedding date might be closer than fans expected. While it is surprising how Biles never gave away the wedding date, she has, however, given enough sneak peeks for her fans to get excited.

During a Q&A session once, she even gave away her dream honeymoon destination.

Her long-time dream destination for her honeymoon has always been Bora Bora. Since the couple has always had an affinity for beaches, a tropical getaway seems fitting. And while she recently mentioned that they only planned to go next year, owing to Owens’ busy schedule, they have kept up with the gymnast’s dreams.
