For Stephen Nedoroscik, that’s exactly what has made him an international gymnastics sensation. Despite battling a serious eye condition known as strabismus, Nedoroscik is one of the greatest pommel horse stars of his generation, and he believes he can lead by example.

Fresh from a successful Parisian campaign, Nedoroscik is currently taking time off from gymnastics to explore other areas to showcase his skills. As he continues to woo fans at Dancing With The Stars, the Clark Kent lookalike seems to believe that his life and exploits can turn out to be the inspiration that others could use as well.

Stephen Nedoroscik shows the way to those who can’t find it for themselves

Extra TV recently caught up with the Penn State gymnast during one of his training sessions with DWTS partner Rylee Arnold. In the YouTube upload from September 27, Nedoroscik talked about how his girlfriend Tess McCracken has supported him during his dancing venture and how his similarities with Superman have become a mainstay of his popularity. Subsequently, the conversation also turned toward how the younger audience looked up to Nedoroscik, especially those who suffer from medical conditions.

A couple of mothers have reached out about their sons. One of them had strabismus, which is when your eyes are crossed, and you know they thought like, he couldn’t do sports. And he thought he couldn’t do sports. But sure enough, like after seeing me at the Olympics and seeing me on Dancing With the Stars you know, he started to tackle like football,grinned Stephen with a shy demeanor.

Naturally, he said, such stories make him feel proud of what he has achieved in his life as well. “That’s just awesome to hear and I’ve had a couple stories like that. So you know it just makes me feel really good that like, I can inspire these people,” Nedoroscik added. In recent days, Stephen has managed to prove once again that he is indeed the Superman that the world needs.

While most of his national buddies hoped onto the Gold Over America Tour with Simone Biles at the helm of things, Nedoroscik chose to take a sabbatical to test out his dancing skills. Taking a cue from his national teammate Suni Lee, Stephen revealed his next great adventure would be taking part in this year’s DWTS, and so far, his fans have only been enthralled to learn that he could dance so well. Fans have been going ga-ga over the Nedoroscik-Arnold duo on social media, and all for the right reasons.
