The audience may have jumped to a sarcastic conclusion to her declaration of being the topmost gymnast. However, Olivia Dunne humbly cleared the “misconception,” she said, “The internet likes to assume things and I just think that this team is so special and our bond is (amazing). So, we could take jokes. Our team is funny and we just decided to make a funny video, pushing back at the haters.”
When she was asked how she balances her schoolwork with her college athletics, she confidently knew her answers and stated that with experiences in the past, she had now managed to groom her schedule accordingly and this year has been pretty smooth for her. Staying in shape and fueling her body with requisite necessities has helped her to achieve the “best grasp on it“, she quotes therefore. Concluding it to be the best year yet, Olivia Dunne eyes on the further championships in her ( last) senior year.

Future aspirations for the young Dunne
Prepping up for the upcoming 2024 NCAA gymnastics championships, Olivia Dunne seeks to deliver a majestic routine on the floor, beam and bars so that she can etch her name in the history of LSU Tigers gymnastics. Being her last year, most probably, as a senior in the Louisiana State University, she will be leaving behind her college landscape after the 2024 season and thus is completely determined to leave a mark before dropping out of the University.

Considering the Olympic fever and pre gala imbued in everyone’s nerves, Livvy was asked back in 2021 about her Olympic aspirations with Dave Portnoy, Josh Richards, and Bri Chickenfry. She quipped with –“That dream has died,”. With collegiate gymnastics driving her forward and major wins with LSU thus far in 2024, we have our hopes high from this 21-year-old wunderkind.
