Simone Biles got bullied, from her school to social media

Social media and school are the two most common places to get bullied in the contemporary era. Meanwhile, there are many social media campaigns regarding mental health, but that is the same place where it often gets affected.

Biles’ journey of being bullied began parallel to her gymnastics journey, at her school. She told in an interview, “Going to public school, nobody really had a body build that I did, and I was a girl, so the guys would sometimes make fun of me”. As gymnastics needs an abundance of strength and flexibility, Biles worked hard to make her body strong.
