Kate Douglass hasn’t been up to her best after winning the gold medal in the 200m individual medley. The 22-year-old finished off the podium yesterday, and as she splashed in the women’s 100m freestyle, Douglass again fell short.

Kate Douglass misses another podium

Kate Douglass faced another disappointment at the Doha World Aquatics Championships 2024 as she finished off the podium in women’s 100m freestyle. Netherlands’ Marrit Steenbergen took home the gold in sensational 52.26s while Siobhan Haughey of Hong Kong settled with silver at 52.26. The 3rd place on the podium was sealed by Shayna Jack of Australia as America’s favorite Douglass finished in 4th in 53.02 seconds.
