Sha’Carri Richardson has started the calendar year with a win at the Miramar Invitational in Florida. But that was just the beckoning of her greatness which was to follow. Next came the Doha Diamond League, where she won the 100-meter race in just 10.76 seconds. This broke the previously held record of the late athlete Tori Bowie, who had completed it in 10.80 seconds. Richardson continued her dominating form as she traveled to Nairobi, Kenya for the Kip Keino Classic. There too she made a record in the 200-meter race by finishing it in 22.07 seconds.
While on a record-breaking spree, this will be a great time for her fans to acquaint themselves with her. Richardson, who hadn’t had the best of year in 2022 with the controversy of being boarded off the American Airlines after an altercation broke out, soon got into the bad books of fans. However, her strong comeback and revival put her into the positive sphere of her fans.
