26-year-old Lyles is now a double world champion after he claimed both 100-meter and 200-meter titles during the world championships in Budapest.

He clocked the fastest time this year during his 100-meter heat and crossed the finish line in 9.83 seconds. Lyles secured the world championship title in the 200 meters, clocking an astounding time of 19.52 seconds.

Following this, he helped Team USA become world champions in the 4×100-meter relay during the same events. Then, on 31st September, he once again sprinted toward the finish line and bagged another 200m victory on the tracks of Zurich.
