With tough competitors in the half-pipe competition, he hopes to entertain the audience by performing new tricks. Japanese snowboarder Ayumu Hirano is the favorite to win the competition with his undeniable skill. Significantly, he became the first snowboarder to land the triple cork in the competition. A triple cork is a frontside triple cork 1440 which includes four full rotations and three off-axis flips. Hence, with all the new players on the block, White is not shying away as he attempts to land some brand new tricks.

“You know it’s gonna be an incredible competition. There’s talks of triple corks now, these triple flips that are happening. A lot of the Japanese riders have been attempting those. There’s talks of doing a 16 which is 180 past the 1440. But it’s going to be incredible. I don’t want to give anything away but I’ve been working out some new moves and I hope that everything really peaks, once I get to the competition. You know, once I see the start gate, once I see the competitors and get to drop in,” said White.
