Amidst the swimming controversy stirred up by transgender swimmer Lia Thomas, this event is like a much-needed breather for fans as well as swimmers. TYR Pro Swim Series is the most important stepping stone for swimmers aiming at the 2022 FINA World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
Katie Ledecky once again on the top
The seven-time Olympic gold medalist swimmer Katie Ledecky clinched another victory in the 400-meter freestyle. With 4:03.84 time on the clock, she defeated Leah Smith (4:05.43) and her Olympic teammate Hali Flickinger (4:10.38). After winning in 200-meter freestyle as well, it was the second victory for the Olympic champion.
