Olympian sprinter Noah Lyles shows his fun side. The American track and field star has persistently captured the community’s attention of with his social media posts. The 6x world champion recently ended a highly successful 2023 campaign, although with an unsavory climax. However, Lyles’ hilarious commentary online shows that he isn’t phased by the anticlimactic ending.

Lyles was recently tagged in a social media post by a billion-dollar sports company asking about his weaknesses. The social media post came right after Lyles suffered a defeat in the 100m dash at the 2023 Diamond League Eugene. Despite this, the world champion kept his cool and gave a hilariously apt reply.

Noah Lyles has established the image of an unfiltered speaker amidst his fans and haters alike. The 26-year-old pro is one of the most vocal athletes in the world of sports and never shies away from speaking his mind or cracking a joke in this case. Currently, Lyles is taking a break from track and is all in for an enjoyable off-season. Lyles recently joined the commentators of the NBC Olympics, and while sharing the booth with them delivered some excellent commentary. 

The Budapest threepeater happily thanked NBC for providing him an opportunity to shine at something new. However, sports industry giant, Adidas tagged Noah Lyles and asked, “Is there anything the world champion can’t do?” Lyles intelligently got back at the company and said, “Don’t ask me to spell. My dyslexia hates doing that.” Lyles used his sharpness and brilliantly played the right cards to diffuse a seemingly provocative comment. He cited his learning disability and joked about being unable to spell while keeping his cool like a true champ.

Notably, this humility comes right after the intense backlash he faced from the NBA world after losing at Eugene. Besides his great sense of humor, the American star athlete regularly advocates for track and field players to get justified remuneration similar to sportspersons of other disciplines. Lyles challenged the World champion claim of NBA players after his Budapest conquest, and received both criticism and support for it.

Noah Lyles created a massively polarizing rift on the internet when he went against the NBA and mocked them. This led the NBA fans to troll him on social media. However, the NBA supporters were silenced after the USA was defeated by Germany at the FIBA World Cup. Lyles didn’t let the opportunity go to waste and further mocked the NBA by launching the ‘Noah Lyles World Champion Hat.’

The hat resembled the ones worn by NBA champions after winning a grueling 82-match season and a 28-match playoffs. But, Lyles’ antics backfired on him when he failed to win the 100m dash at Eugene. This resulted in the NBA fans surrounding him like laughing hyenas, as they questioned his own world champion status.
