However, to the surprise of everyone, he does not even flinch. Although the batter is wearing a helmet, still the impact is very strong. Luckily, he did not suffer any serious injuries on the head. He handles the situation calmly and does not react.

Struck Directly on the Helmet

The video clearly shows that the batter gets hit on the helmet. Moreover, the balls used in baseball are very hard and can cause serious injuries. Many a time in the past as well baseball players have suffered serious injuries after getting hit on the head. In this scenario, the batter shows a lot of courage to not show any reaction. He keeps his calm and walks off. He definitely felt the pain, but did not show any reaction.

In such kind of situations, things sometimes get out of hand. However, if the batter had reacted and showed his anger, this could have led to a serious fight. We have seen in the past where baseball players fight each other after getting hit on the body. It’s not allowed to throw the ball at such a height. Also, the ball comes at a reasonable speed and does not give much time to the batter to react. However, it is unclear whether the batter got hit on purpose or he got hit by mistake.
