Soto remarked, “This corner has seen its share of unfortunate incidents.” Another local resident, Alberto Zabala, stressed the importance of vigilance due to the brisk pace of traffic, involving both cars and bicycles.

Reportedly, the school bus was carrying approximately two dozen students at the time of the accident. A compassionate neighbor living nearby offered water to the driver and the young girls on the bus. The driver, recognized for his cautious driving, had faithfully served this route for over a decade.
