For every sportsperson, there lies a question, how would my retirement look like? How would I feed my family?  All of life goes into sports for a sportsperson. There have been incidents where famous sports personalities were not left with a single penny after their retirement as they didn’t plan it well.

In 2016, the basketball world was saddened by his decision of him, to take a retirement. He was just behind Michael Jordan from the same league and Tiger Woods from golf who are earning more than him. Kobe’s net worth at his retirement was estimated to be $600 million. Kobe was no stranger to this, and he made appropriate choices, which he didn’t know but proved effective in the upcoming years.

The major sum of money which is $400 million comes from the investment that Kobe had made in the sports drink, Body Armor. Recently, it was occupied by Nike, which resulted in a huge sum of money for Vanessa Bryant and her family.

Kobe thought of finishing the deal with Nike in 2021, and he was thinking of starting his own line of “mamba shoes.” However, things didn’t go according to plan after his demise. Nike and Bryant’s family are again in business. Nike plans to showcase one of the greatest shoes in the Kobe department “Major Plans.”
