Tennis ace Rafael Nadal has inspired many over the years. He has displayed a unique style of play during the course of his career. Recently, there was a moment in which American tennis player Frances Tiafoe emulated the Spaniard in his match today.
Frances Tiafoe was doing the trademark, Rafael Nadal standing way behind the baseline. The American player did that in his match against Alexander Zverev in the final of the Vienna Open 2021. The German player was hitting some real hard-hitting serves, which pushed the American player far behind the baseline.

Rafael Nadal has been a true inspiration
Over the years, tennis fans from all over the world have been witness to the unique habit of Nadal. Usually, players will be standing just a foot away from the baseline but the Spaniard stands nearly 8-10 ft behind the baseline. To see Frances do the same thing brought back glimpses of Rafa.

Speaking of Frances, he has had a brilliant week so far. He has knocked some of the top players during the course of this tournament. At the moment, he is in the final and is up against Zverev. It promises to be an exciting match as both players are playing fantastic tennis.

Coming on to Nadal, he was last seen in Washington. Sadly, he could not go past the initial rounds. His foot injury was the main cause of him not being able to compete at the best of his levels. He then flew back home in order to get back in better shape.
