Novak Djokovic is finally set to get on the courts and compete again at the Dubai Open this week. After his 17th Grand Slam title, this is the first event he will participate in. The World No. 1 took some time off his preparations to lend a hand to local disabled children.

The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships is nearly upon us. All the participating players are getting their final few practice sessions in before the event starts off.

Novak’s task might be slightly easier this time around given Roger Federer’s absence. The Swiss has a record eight titles in Dubai.

But Djokovic also took some time off his preparations to spend it practicing with some local special children. You can see him helping a boy on a wheelchair along, as he, and many others carry out a tennis drill.

The Serb inspires millions with his awesome displays on the tennis courts, but he is just as inspirational off the courts too, really. You follow him closely, and you will soon realize that the man is constantly involved in some kindness towards people around him.

Why be someone you are not? Is it so bad to be true to yourself, especially in the heat of battle?

Novak Djokovic is a genuine person. he is right there at the top when it comes to expressing what a sportsman truly feels, before and after the match.

I for one believe we should encourage everyone to be themselves and express themselves. If Djokovic wasn’t such an expressive person, perhaps we wouldn’t have seen such heartfelt acts from him.
