“I know there was an article posted about me and Coco not playing doubles anymore. I just felt I needed to address that and say it is completely FALSE.”
The fact that Gauff entered the recent WTA Adelaide event with a new partner (Canadian Sharon Fichman) aided the split rumors as McNally wasn’t absent and featured in the singles tournament. Thus, it was speculated that Gauff and McNally have split.
Coco Gauff and Caty McNally to continue ahead as ‘McCoco’
But, for the joy of their fans, McNally has specified that ‘Team McCoco’ will continue to steam ahead. Her partnership with Coco Gauff will continue further, and they are excited about what lies ahead.
“She is one of my best friends on tour and I wouldn’t want to play with anyone else truly I’m so excited for the rest of the year and to see what we can accomplish into the future. McCoco is better than ever, so don’t worry lol.”
